Dr. Yoshie Tomozumi Nakamura, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at the George Washington University and an experienced executive coach. Specializing in leadership learning and development, she emphasizes authenticity, interpersonal relationships, and reflection, viewing leadership as a dynamic social process. Before this role, she taught at Teachers College, Columbia University and headed Academic Learning and Neuroscience at Columbia Business School’s Executive Education. There, she cultivated diverse learning environments, directed programs like the Neuroscience to Enhance Leadership Development, and taught the Women in Leadership course. She is the author of "Japanese Women in Leadership" and holds a doctorate in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University.
