Veronica Bocanegra Monsalve

Veronica is a first year graduate student in the International Education Program at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development from Bogotá, Colombia. She holds a BA in International Relations and Global Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. After graduation she completed two years of service as a bilingual literacy tutor through Americorps before joining the International Education field as an Enrollment Coordinator at API (Academic Programs International). She currently works as a Program Assistant at the GWSB Global and Experiential Education Office. Her passion for International Education and DEI was instilled through her multicultural and educational experiences growing up overseas, as well as her undergraduate study abroad exchange program in Ifrane, Morocco. Her interests include traveling, baking, reading, and film.
