Part I of the 9th Annual Diversity Summit will be postponed in order for our university resources to be placed in the most appropriate direction. Our community is particularly impacted by the war in the Middle East. Prioritizing campus safety and support is critical. Given the current climate at GW, nationally, and globally, in addition to recent events on campus in the last 24 hours, we believe it is important to pause. Proceeding with the schedule would be dismissive to the pain, loss of life, and impact that many members of our community are experiencing.
We will work to move the scheduled sessions for Part I to Part II of the 9th Annual Diversity Summit, February 20 - 22, 2024. We will also invite members of the GW community to submit proposals for February in the coming weeks.
