Robin Pokorski, PhD

Robin Pokorski is an Educational Developer on the Faculty Development team. She comes from Northwestern University, where she worked extensively with Northwestern's Searle Center for Advancing Learning and Teaching while completing a PhD in medieval and early modern history. Her experience includes leading workshops for a wide array of audiences, mentoring graduate student instructors, and conducting mid-course student feedback sessions. Robin is particularly passionate about finding ways to foster student curiosity and engagement, alternative grading models, ways of providing feedback to students, and the training of graduate student instructors. She has also taught a range of courses on medieval and early modern European history.
