Kortnie Parks, LPC, LCPC

Kortnie Parks is a licensed professional counselor based in Maryland and Washington, D.C. At present, she is advancing her studies with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision and currently holds the position of Senior Staff Clinician of Multicultural Competence at the George Washington University Counseling Center.

With a deep-rooted dedication to transforming communities and the mental health profession, Kortnie has been privileged to serve and support diverse groups in achieving mental well-being. Her passion for counseling and supervision stems from her commitment to foster safe environments where BIPOC communities can genuinely connect, be recognized, listened to, and feel empowered. In the future she looks forward to continuing to leverage her passion in uplifting and healing marginalized communities by destigmatizing mental health while inspiring the next generation of counselors to be competent advocates.
