Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology
Joshua DeSilva, PsyD (they/them) is an assistant professor of clinical psychology at George Washington University. The courses they teach in the Doctor of Psychology program include Group Psychotherapy, Community Intervention, and Diversity I. Prior to GWU, they were an assistant professor and the director of clinical training at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, DC Campus. Dr. DeSilva specializes in somatic, experiential and psychodynamic approaches to psychotherapy and enjoys acquainting folx with their emotional lives. Their teaching, scholarship, and private practice focus on antiracist and queer affirming work with queer and BIPOC populations.
