Diana Furchtgott-Roth is an adjunct professor in the MSc in Applied Economics program and director of the Center for Energy, Climate, and Environment at The Heritage Foundation. She has taught at GW since 2016, and is the author of six books and over 100 articles on economic policy. She has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, among others, and appears frequently on radio and television and testifies before Congress. She has served as Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor; Chief of Staff of the Council of Economic Advisors; and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
