Abbey Salvas

Abbey Salvas is a fifth-year I/O psychology doctoral candidate at GW. Their research focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) at work, with a particular focus on LGBTQIA+ populations. Their dissertation examines experiences of authenticity at work for trans and non-binary employees, with a focus on day-to-day changes based on social support and psychological safety. They work as an I/O + DEI Consulting Assistant at Mattingly Solutions, a woman-owned DEI consulting firm, where they serve as an LGBTQIA+ inclusion subject matter expert. They also work as a Survey Research Analyst for GWU, conducting and analyzing university-wide surveys.
